Eco-solvent printing

Peculiarities of eco-solvent printing

Eco-solvent printing, unlike hard solvent, uses inks significantly less invasive and virtually odorless. This feature makes eco-solvent printing universal and applicable both in outdoor advertising, and in interior solutions.

Particles of colored pigment in eco-solvent ink are of very small size. Due to this, eco-solvent printers can produce prints of almost photographic quality.

Among comparative disadvantages of eco-solvent are the presence of solvent in the ink (even a low one), relatively high cost of prints and not a very good adhesion of the ink to the material.

However, these shortcomings are compensated by significant benefits: excellent printing quality, absence of strong odor, flexibility in the choice of materials.

Images made by eco-solvent printers of Univest Advertising Production can be viewed from any distance, as the size of the ink drops is so small that virtually is not discernible to the human eye.

Due to the use of expensive original ink, we provide the maximum widest color gamut at printing, accurate rendition of corporate colors, brightness, saturation and image durability.

For postpress finishing of products Univest Advertising Production offers automatic contour cutting on any material, lamination by glossy and matte films, boiling of image edges, installation of eyelets, installation of fastening profiles, and any other non-standard operations.

How does the print go?

Preparing the layout and sending it to the machine

Action 2

Processing the file with a raster processor

Action 3

Tensioning of roll of material in the printer

Action 5

Fixing the ink on the material in the heater

Action 4

Applying ink by jet method (using printing heads)

What materials can be used for print?

For eco-solvent printing virtually all standard large format materials are suitable, such as: banners, paper, self-adhesive and light scattering (backlit) films, foil and synthetic fabric, one-way-vision perforated films, wallpapers, photo paper, canvas.

What can be printed?

With this printing method a wide range of promotional products can be produced, such as: posters, flyers, posters, stickers for windows, transport graphics, inserts in light boxes, city lights, banners for exhibition constructions, images for the “spiders”, roll-ups, pictures, wallpaper and decorations for the interior.
